Statement by Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic

Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, invites all scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and committed citizens to come and work in France. "You will find a second home in France. I appeal to you: Come and work here, with us, to work on concrete solutions for the climate" (excerpt from the President of the Republic's speech on 1/06/2017)

In line with the President of the Republic's appeal and to facilitate the reception of these scientists, Nicolas Hulot, Minister of Ecological Transition, announced on Wednesday June 7, 2017 that the government would "open a website for researchers who want to participate in the ecological transition".

The aim of this site will be to "create all the conditions to facilitate the reception of these researchers, including our own researchers who have gone into exile, so that they can come and nourish fundamental and applied research in these subjects", the minister announced.
